Julianne Hough is flying high after starring in the TV musical, “Grease: Live.” At 28, Julianne is hotter than ever, thanks to diet and exercise.
Hough’s bikini body fitness secrets are a portion-controlled diet and cardio workouts, as Celebrity Health Fitness has reported.
Like most men and women, the former “Dancing with the Stars” pro admits she gains weight when she slacks off her diet and exercise routine, saying her metabolism has slowed down with age.
While Hough “hates” working out at the gym, she enjoys dancing. Hough typically works out four to five days a week doing a combination of cardio exercise and body sculpting with free weights, such as the Tracy Anderson method.
The blonde beauty usually starts off by doing 30 minutes of cardio on the treadmill, elliptical trainer, or the stationary bike, followed by light weight-lifting. When she’s not at the gym, Hough runs 30 to 45 minutes on most days.
“There are certain areas of the body that dancing won’t tone, so I still stretch and do crunches, lunges, and arm moves just about every day,” said Hough.
Hough, who left “Dancing with the Stars” in 2008 to pursue a country music career, is determined to continue singing and acting. “I know what I’m capable of, and I don’t ever want to sell myself short,” she said.
