Kim Kardashian posted a nude flashback selfie on Instagram as she diets toward her 40-pound weight loss goal.

Kardashian nearly broke the Internet after posting a NSFW naked photo on Instagram that spotlighted her post-baby weight loss.

In the selfie, a blonde Kim poses nude in front of a bathroom mirror. While some media outlets claimed the photo was recent, others pointed out it was from spring 2015.

Kim, who gained 60 pounds during her second pregnancy, has lost more than 40 pounds since giving birth in December 2015.

Kardashian’s weight loss secrets were the low-carb Atkins diet, exercise and waist training, as Celebrity Health Fitness has reported.

Kardashian said she wants to reach her goal weight of 120 pounds. The 5-foot-2 brunette beauty weighed 190 pounds when she gave birth to son Saint West in December 2015, and has since lost over 40 pounds.

This isn’t the first time Kim is using the low-carb, high-fat Atkins diet to lose weight. In 2014, Kardashian shed 56 pounds in six months by following the Atkins diet and limiting her daily carb intake to less than 60 net grams. This time, the reality TV star is limiting her carb intake to 40 grams a day.

Low carb, high-fat diets like the Atkins and ketogenic diets promote rapid weight loss by inducing the body to burn fat for fuel, said obesity expert Dr. Eric Westman, co-author of Keto Clarity.

Low carb diets keep blood sugar levels stable and prevent food cravings, which helps with mental clarity and boosts mood, added Colette Heimowitz, author of The New Atkins Made Easy.

In addition to Atkins, Kardashian also exercised intensely several days a week and wore a waist trainer most of the day to shrink her uterus and narrow her waist and hips.

Waist-training, or the “Corset Diet,” is a weight loss trend some women use to slim down their tummies.

“This is a remarkable way to train your waist to be smaller,” said plastic surgeon Dr. Alexander Sinclair, who claims some of his patients have lost up to six inches.

Kim also said she has been taking placenta pills to prevent postpartum depression and aid weight loss. Meanwhile, sister Khloe Kardashian is hotter than ever after losing 40 pounds recently with a dairy-free diet, waist training, and exercise.
