Kristin Cavallari flaunted her impressive post-baby weight loss as she promoted her new book, “Balancing In Heels,” in New York.
Judging by her model-skinny body, it’s hard to believe Kristin gave birth to her third child in November 2015.
As she did with her first two pregnancies, Cavallari lost all her baby weight less than 2 months post-delivery.
Kristin’s weight loss secrets are a low carb, Paleo-style diet and gym workouts that include Pilates, weightlifting and cardio exercise, as Celebrity Health Fitness has reported.
Cavallari exercises 30 to 45 minutes, four to five days a week, incorporating Pilates, weightlifting, cardio and lots of squats and lunges.
Kristin is a fan of the Paleo diet, which limits processed foods and emphasizes high-quality proteins like grass-fed beef and bison.
“I’m a freak about what I put in my mouth,” said the blonde beauty. “I’m constantly reading labels and I don’t eat any toxic chemicals, so I think that plays a huge role.”
Cavallari’s breakfast is usually a smoothie or eggs, while lunch is a salad or turkey sandwich. For afternoon snacks, Kristin has nuts with dried cherries or an apple with almond butter.
Kristin also eats plenty of healthy, Paleo-approved fats like olive oil, avocados, and coconut oil. “I also love avocados with olive oil and sea salt and I put coconut oil in or on everything,” she said.
Fitness expert Robb Wolf, author of the bestselling The Paleo Solution, said Paleo isn’t a fad diet because the emphasis is not on calorie restriction, and it provides a healthy balance of protein, vegetables and high-quality fats.
Clinical trials show the Paleo diet aids weight loss, prevents heart disease, lowers blood pressure, and reduces acne, said Loren Cordain, author of Real Paleo Fast and Easy and The Real Paleo Diet Cookbook.
Interestingly, Kristin thought she looked fat when she starred on the reality TV show “The Hills” in 2009, and slimmed down dramatically a few years ago after seeing an unflattering photo of herself.
