Melissa McCarthy looked gorgeous as she showcased her 75-pound weight loss at the Los Angeles premiere of “The Boss,” where she wore a dazzling white outfit from her own clothing line.
Melissa, who once weighed more than 236 pounds, has slimmed down to a size 14 during the past few months with diet and exercise.
McCarthy’s weight loss secrets were a low-carb diet and HIIT (high-intensity interval training) workouts, as Celebrity Health Fitness has reported.
Despite her 75-weight loss, Melissa is vocal advocate for larger women, saying women should love their bodies no matter what their weight or size.

Melissa, who recently launched her all-sizes clothing line, Melissa McCarthy Seven7, said all women are beautiful, even if they’re not model-skinny.
McCarthy is proud to champion plus-size women, whom she says have been marginalized by the fashion industry, TheImproper reported.
“There’s a big thing missing where you can’t dress to your mood above a certain number,” said Melissa. “I’ve been every size under the rainbow. My sense of style never left me, but my options did.”

The Melissa McCarthy Seven7 collection has lots of cute, flattering styles and is not just for plus size or super-skinny women.
Low carb diets such as the ketogenic and Atkins diets promote rapid weight loss by inducing the body to burn fat for fuel, said obesity expert Dr. Eric Westman, co-author of Keto Clarity.
In addition to fueling weight loss, clinical research shows a low carb diet reverses type 2 diabetes and prevents inflammation — a key driver of diseases such as cancer and dementia, said Dr. Westman.

Dr. David Ludwig, author of Always Hungry? Conquer Cravings, Retrain Your Fat Cells, agrees.
Ludwig himself lost 20 pounds in 3 months without feeling hungry or counting calories with a low-carb diet.
Low carb diets keep blood sugar stable, suppress appetite, enhance mood and prevent depression, said Ludwig, a physician and Harvard nutrition professor.
