Carrie Underwood looked like a goddess on the red carpet of the 2016 Academy of Country Music Awards.
Underwood wore a form-fitting gold and silver Elie Madi gown that spotlighted her gym-toned body.
Carrie also performed at the ACMs in a sexy one-sleeved black mini-dress that accentuated her gorgeous legs.
Judging by her fit physique, it’s hard to tell Underwood gave birth a year ago. Son Isaiah was born in February 2015, and Carrie lost 30 pounds just two months afterward.
Carrie’s weight loss secrets are a vegan diet and Tabata high-intensity interval training workouts, as Celebrity Health Fitness has reported.

“I gained only 30 pounds, which is the recommended amount, and I exercised throughout my pregnancy,” said Underwood. “I did have a C-section, which meant waiting six weeks before working out.
Carrie was thrilled to start exercising with her trainer after her doctor gave her the go-ahead. Underwood’s workouts include boxing and hiking, but her favorite is fat-blasting Tabata high-intensity interval training, Examiner reported.
“My favorite workout is Tabata, which I can do at home in about a half hour,” said Carrie. “I’m in love with it! It’s hard, but it really works.
“I choose seven different exercises, like squats, lunges, or push- ups, and do eight rounds of each—20 seconds on, 20 seconds off for eight rounds. It really revs up my metabolism.”

Underwood, a longtime vegan, loves bread but eats it only at breakfast and lunch, saying skipping bread at night gives her a flat stomach the next morning.
“I’m vegan and I love bread, but recently, I started making dinner a breadless meal,” said Carrie. “I’ll have a bowl of oatmeal for breakfast, and I’ll make a sandwich on Ezekiel bread for lunch, but in the evening I’ll have protein and vegetables and no bread. When I wake up, my belly is flat!”
Underwood joins a long list of celebrity vegans, who credit the 100% plant-based diet for its weight loss and anti-aging health benefits. Other celebrity vegans include Beyonce and Jennifer Lopez.
Beyonce’s longtime trainer, Marco Borges, said The 22-Day Revolution diet helped Beyonce lose 65 pounds six months after she gave birth to daughter Blue Ivy in 2012
The 5-foot-7 Beyonce, who once weighed 195 pounds, has since maintained her weight loss and looks better than ever.
Borges, who has trained Beyonce since 2007, said her mostly vegan diet is responsible for her sizzling body. “I am not naturally the thinnest,” said Beyonce. I have curves.”
Similarly, Jennifer Lopez has credited Marco’s 22-day vegan diet for her 10-pound weight loss and age-defying beauty. Experiencing easy weight loss and improved health on a vegan diet isn’t surprising to medical experts like Dr. Joel Fuhrman.

“The more greens you eat, the more weight you will lose,” said Dr. Fuhrman, author of The End of Dieting.Underwood, who shot to fame after winning “American Idol” in 2005, has undergone a dramatic transformation during the past 10 years.
The 5-foot-3 Carrie lost 20 pounds shortly after winning “American Idol,” and has since become a fitness fanatic who admits she counts calories and works out almost every day.
Underwood once abused diet pills, but has since stopped taking weight loss supplements because many of them are unhealthy. “It wasn’t the best way,” said Carrie. “If I could go back and talk to myself I’d be like, ‘Here’s how you do it the right way.’”
