Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge, is earning raves for her chic fashion style on her royal tour of India and Bhutan.

Middleton looked gorgeous while playing cricket, visiting several charities, and attending black-tie galas with husband Prince William, who looked dashing in a tuxedo.

Kate and William left their two small children at home in the U.K. while embarking on a week-long tour of India and Bhutan.

Middleton, who gave birth to daughter Charlotte in May 2015, regained her slender pre-baby body less than two months after delivery.

Kate’s weight loss secrets were a low carb diet, cardio exercise, and yoga workouts, as Celebrity Health Fitness has reported. It’s the same approach Middleton used to regain her fit bikini body after giving birth to her first child.

In 2014, Kate lost 29 pounds less than 2 months after giving birth to son George with a low carb diet, Examiner reported.

Low carb diets such as the Atkins, ketogenic and Paleo diets fuel rapid weight loss by inducing the body to burn fat for fuel, said obesity expert Dr. Eric Westman, co-author of Keto Clarity.

Weight loss expert Dr. David Ludwig, a physician and nutrition professor at Harvard University, agrees.

By reducing carbs and eating more healthy fats, you can accelerate weight loss and enjoy consistent energy throughout the day, said Dr. Ludwig, author of Always Hungry? Conquer Cravings, Retrain Your Fat Cells.

Ludwig said the real cause of weight gain isn’t too many calories, but a diet that’s high in refined carbs and sugars. This is because our body stores fat when we experience insulin spikes, which are caused by eating too much sugar and processed grains like white bread, he explained.

Kate Middleton’s speedy weight loss was also due to a daily regimen of fresh green juices, as Celebrity Health Fitness previously reported.

The Duchess has been nicknamed “the Smoothie Queen” because she loves to use her Nutribullet blender at home to make her own healthy fruit and vegetable drinks. Daily juicing also keeps Kate’s skin radiant and wrinkle-free.

Middleton, a star college athlete, works out almost every day, combining cardio exercise, yoga and weightlifting. Kate is also an expert skier and tennis player.
