Gwen Stefani‘s divorce from rocker Gavin Rossdale was recently finalized, and the No Doubt singer has never looked better.
It’s hard to believe Stefani is a 46-year-old mom of two, judging by her youthful skin and superfit body.
Gwen, who divorced after nearly 13 years of marriage, is now dating country music star Blake Shelton, and has never looked hotter or happier.
Stefani’s anti-aging fitness and beauty secrets are a mostly vegan diet and intense exercise, as Celebrity Health Fitness has reported.
Gwen previously followed a 100% vegan diet but has since started eating some animal protein. “She avoids pasta, bread, and rice and drinks lots of water,” said a source.
Vegan diets have anti-aging health benefits and promote natural weight loss, said Dr. David Katz, director of Yale University’s Prevention Research Center.
“A diet of minimally processed foods close to nature — predominantly plants — is decisively associated with health promotion and disease prevention,” said Dr. Katz, author of Disease-Proof.
Dr. Neal Barnard agrees. “Studies suggest that free radicals [toxic molecules that form in the body] contribute to aging,” said Barnard, author of 21-Day Weight Loss Kickstart.
“A vegan diet, rich in fruits and vegetables, is full of antioxidants which help protect the body from damage by free radicals.”
Gwen joins a long list of celebrity vegetarians and vegans, who credit a plant-based diet for its weight loss and anti-aging health benefits. Other celebrity vegans include Beyonce and Carrie Underwood.
Beyonce’s longtime trainer, Marco Borges, said The 22-Day Revolution diet helped her lose 65 pounds six months after she gave birth to daughter Blue Ivy in 2012
The 5-foot-7 Beyonce, who once weighed 195 pounds, has since maintained her weight loss and looks better than ever.
