Kim Kardashian gave a weight loss update on Snapchat, where she revealed now weighs 139.6 pounds.

Kim is just 4 pounds away from her pre-baby weight of 135 pounds, and showed it off in a form-fitting black swimsuit.

“You guys!!!! Pre baby weight was 135!!!!!” Kardashian wrote alongside a photo of a scale showing 139.6 pounds.

Kim has been hard at work on her weight loss regimen since giving birth to son Saint in December 2015.

Kardashian’s weight loss secret is the low-carb, high-fat Atkins diet, exercise, and waist training, as Celebrity Health Fitness has reported.

The 5-foot-2 Kim, who weighed 190 pounds at childbirth, has lost over 50 pounds on the Atkins diet during the past 4 months. She wants to lose 20 more pounds to reach her goal weight of 120.

Under her Atkins plan, Kardashian is limiting her daily carb intake to about 40 grams a day.

This isn’t the first time Kim has relied on the low carb, high-fat Atkins diet to lose weight.

In 2014, Kardashian lost 56 pounds in 6 months with an Atkins diet that limited her daily carb intake to less than 60 net grams, Examiner reported.

Low carb, high-fat diets like the Atkins and ketogenic diets promote rapid weight loss by inducing the body to burn fat for fuel, said obesity expert Dr. Eric Westman, co-author of Keto Clarity.

Dr. David Ludwig, a physician and nutrition professor at Harvard, agrees.

In addition to Atkins, Kim Kardashian also exercises regularly and wears a waist trainer several hours a day to narrow her waist.

Kim’s workouts include weightlifting and lots of squats and lunges to tone her butt. For cardio exercise, Kardashian does fat-burning workouts on the treadmill or the elliptical trainer.

Kim said looking back at old bikini photos of herself reminds her to not get frustrated when she doesn’t lose weight quickly.

“I have to be patient,” said Kardashian. “You can do it, it will just take time. Stay focused, and don’t let anything get you off track.”
