Kim Kardashian flaunted her 65-pound weight loss as she jetted off to the Cannes Film Festival in a private plane.
In an Instagram selfie, Kim poses on a private jet in a glamorous black Vivenne Westwood dress.
Kardashian was in New York the previous weekend, where she received the first-ever “Break the Internet” Award for her “bold and creative” use of social media.
In accepting the award, Kim promised she would continue to post “nude selfies until I die.”
And why not? Kardashian makes up to $200,000 per tweet and feels fantastic after losing 65 pounds during the past 5 months.
The 5-foot-2 Kardashian now weighs 135 pounds and couldn’t be prouder of her progress. Kim’s weight loss secrets were the low carb Atkins diet and cardio workouts, as Celebrity Health Fitness has reported.
Kardashian, who gave birth to her second child in December 2015, previously said she wants to lose an additional 15 pounds to reach her goal weight of 120 pounds.
In 2014, Kim lost 56 pounds in 6 months with an Atkins diet that limited her daily carb intake to less than 60 grams, Examiner reported.
Low carb, high-fat diets like the Atkins and ketogenic diets promote rapid weight loss by inducing the body to burn fat for fuel, said obesity expert Dr. Eric Westman, author of New Atkins For a New You.
Reducing carbs and eating healthy fats fuels rapid weight loss, suppresses appetite, and boosts energy, said dietitian Colette Heimowitz, author of The New Atkins Made Easy.
Other celebrities who have lost dramatic amounts of weight on a low-carb diet include Kendra Wilkinson, who lost 55 pounds, and Melissa McCarthy, who lost 75 pounds.
Low carb, high-fat diets such as the Atkins and ketogenic plans promote rapid weight loss by forcing the body to burn fat for fuel, said obesity expert Dr. David Ludwig, author of Always Hungry? Conquer Cravings, Retrain Your Fat Cells.
Ludwig himself lost 20 pounds in 3 months without feeling hungry or counting calories with a low-carb diet.
Low carb, high-fat diets keep blood sugar stable, suppress appetite, and enhance mood, said Dr. Ludwig, a physician and Harvard nutrition professor.

In addition to the Atkins diet, Kim Kardashian did lots of cardio exercise and wore a waist trainer several hours a day.
“I definitely feel good where I’m comfortable again and things are starting to fit,” said Kim.
