Rob Kardashian is proud of his 60-pound weight loss and promises he’ll lose even more weight before his wedding to Blac Chyna.
“Still got a lot of work to do and weight to lose but glad I’m getting better :):):) ” Rob wrote in the caption to an Instagram photo that spotlighted his stunning before-and-after transformation.
As of April 2016, Rob had lost 50 pounds, slimming down from 298 pounds to 248.4 pounds. Kardashian has since lost even more weight, and appears to have shed another 10 pounds, TheImproper reported.
Friends credit Rob’s fiancee, Blac Chyna, for jump-starting his weight loss. “[Rob] has really been taking care of himself,” said a source. “It really all is because of Blac Chyna.”
Rob’s weight loss secret was a low-carb diet that excludes red meat and fast food, as Celebrity Health Fitness has reported.
Kardashian also does cardio exercise at least 5 days a week, including walking on the StairMaster, which can burn more than 800 calories an hour for a man Rob’s size.
Rob’s sister, Kim Kardashian, recently lost 65 pounds in 5 months with the low-carb, high-fat Atkins diet.
The 5-foot-2 Kim, who weighed more than 200 pounds while pregnant, now weighs 135 pounds. She wants to lose 15 more pounds to reach her goal weight of 120.
Kim’s weight loss secrets was cardio exercise and the Atkins 40 Diet, which limited her daily carb intake to 40 net grams.
