Jessica Alba dazzled the 2016 Teen Choice Awards, where she made an emotional plea to end gun violence.
In a somber moment from the party festivities, Alba got emotional as she took the stage with young people who have lost family members to gun violence (see video).
“This has to stop,” said the mom of two, who got teary-eyed during the tribute.
In addition to her emotional speech, Jessica Alba also made headlines for her sultry beauty and fit body.
At 35, Jessica is hotter than ever, thanks to a Paleo-style diet, cardio exercise, yoga and CrossFit workouts, as Celebrity Health Fitness has reported.
Alba’s diet is a low carb Paleo-based plan that features healthy fats, high-quality proteins and low-starch organic vegetables and fruits. Like other Paleos, Jessica avoid processed foods.
For exercise, Jessica Alba does CrossFit, yoga, runs on the treadmill, lifts weights, and takes spinning classes.
Other celebrities who do CrossFit include Tim McGraw and “True Blood” hunk Joe Manganiello.
Manganiello credited a low-carb Paleo-style diet and CrossFit for his rippling physique. Joe shared his diet secrets and workout routine in his bestselling book, Evolution.
Other celebrity Paleos include Jessica Biel and Kristin Cavallari. Both credited a low carb, Paleo based diet for their rapid post-baby weight loss and age-defying beauty, as Celebrity Health Fitness has reported.
Weight loss expert Esther Blum, author of Cavewomen Don’t Get Fat, said Paleo doesn’t emphasize calorie restriction and provides a healthy balance of protein, vegetables and high-quality fats to help women manage hormone fluctuations.
Clinical trials show the Paleo diet aids weight loss, prevents heart disease, lowers blood pressure and prevents depression, said Loren Cordain, author of Real Paleo Fast and Easy and The Real Paleo Diet Cookbook.
