Scarlett Johansson was spotted dining out in New York City over the weekend. Tabs jumped on the story claiming she had a new love interest. But her “date” turned out to be her lawyer Kevin Yorn. Is she eyeing up the hired help?
The 32-year-old actress is estranged from French advertising exec Romain Dauriac, whom she married Oct. 2014 after giving birth to their daughter Rose, now two.
They separated last summer, and Johannson filed for divorce in March. Since then dating rumors have been heating up–which may not be surprising.
Johannson, 32, famously–or infamously– said in an interview that monogamy was “unnatural” to her.
“I think the idea of marriage is very romantic; it’s a beautiful idea. And the practice of it can be a very beautiful thing.”
But she added: “I don’t think it’s natural to be a monogamous person. I might be skewered for that, but I think it’s work. It’s a lot of work.”
That could explain her recent catting around.
She was also spotted getting close to comic Colin Jost at The East Pole, a Manhattan restaurant, earlier this month.
“They were holding hands and looked like they were getting cozy. They were really chill and super nice,” according to one tabloid report.
Scarlett reportedly hit it off with the actor last month during her appearance on “Saturday Night Live.” The duo were said to have kissed at an after-party.
“Scarlett and Colin were making out at the bar at the ‘Saturday Night Live’ season finale party at 30 Rock … They would make out a bit, then go back to talking,” the source said.
“They were at the bar in front of everyone … they made out at least twice … Then they went back to talking and hanging with other people.”
But that was then.
Her dinner with Yorn took place at Scalinatella, a high-priced Upper East Side Italian restaurant frequented by celebrities. But whether the dinner was a “romantic” date is up for debate.
The New York Post’s Page Six reported that “they were touching. They were holding hands, but there was no kissing.”
Kevin’s brother, Rick, is also Scarlett’s manager.
When Scarlett zeroes in on a man, two years is about her tolerance level for marriage.
She previously married actor Ryan Reynolds in 2008 and they announced their separation in 2010.
After that she had a tempestuous relationship with actor Sean Penn, before hooking up with Dauriac.
