Saoirse Ronan Was Spotted With Calum Lowden at BAFTAs; Are They Dating?

Saorise Ronan was spotted getting chatty with ballet dancer Calum Lowden at the BAFTAs.

Saoirse Ronan, the fast-rising Irish actress is now being hotly watched by tabloids. The latest reports are speculating that she may be dating ballet dancer Calum Lowden, the brother of actor Jack Lowden, although she says dating is not her thing.

The catalyst for the rumors was their mutual admiration at the BAFTAs, the British equivalent of the Academy Awards.

They were actually introduced weeks earlier by mutual friends, according to reports. “Saoirse didn’t win on the night but couldn’t have looked happier,” someone who was there told Britain’s Sun newspaper.

“She headed from the awards to the official dinner at Grosvenor House on Park Lane and hooked up with Calum, again. They looked like things are going great between them,” the source added.

The ‘Lady Bird’ actress and the Royal Swedish Ballet rising star are said to have kept their rumoured romance on the down low to avoid publicity.

“It’s early days and they have been keeping things low-key, but there was no mistaking the spark between them,” the Sun source added.

Saoirse was up for the top actress award at the star-studded ceremony for her role in “Lady Bird.” Frances McDormand, star “Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri” took home the award

Calum attended the event with his actor brother Jack Lowden, who played fighter pilot Collins in “Dunkirk.”

Jack posted a picture of himself and Calum on Twitter from the spectacle, adding the caption: “Great night at Bafta with the brother. Thanks @LouisVuitton for the cool get up too.”

Saoirse recently picked Bruno Mars as her fantasy boyfriend over the likes of Drake and Chance the Rapper while playing a game on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show.”

The “Brooklyn” star also claimed she isn’t great at dating.

“I don’t know how to date … I don’t date, I’m not into the whole, ‘Let’s go out for dinner,'” she said.
