Gwyneth Paltrow jumped into the shower then jumped in front of the camera to reveal her night-time skincare routine. But hold onto your hats. The products she uses cost more than $600, largely from her own “Goop” brand and other high-end manufacturers.

Paltrow takes extra care of her skin now that she’s 45, to maintain that youthful, supple look.

She starts from scratch, bare-faced with wet hair just out of the shower in a white robe for her “Go To Bed With Me” video for Harper’s Bazaar.

Her routine begins with dry body brushing to exfoliate and improve circulation in her skin. She uses Body G.Tox Ultimate Dry Brush, which retails at $20.

Then, it’s into the shower. She washes her hair with her own Goop brand G.Tox Hilalayan Salt Scalp Scrub Shampoo, followed by Goop’s Detox Salt Scrub. The two products clock in at $42 and $40 respectively.

Then, she indulges with Exfoliating Instant Facial, rinsing off the acid-based mask with warm water and a cotton cloth.

“This is, to me, is like a professional facial in a jar,” she says of the product, which sells for $125. She explains her routine:

“On the jar it says to use it three times a week, but I use it every night. What I like so much when you get a professional facial is that there are always a couple of kinds of exfoliation. So we developed this instant facial to have an acid tingly exfoliation and then also a manual exfo liation.”

To soothe her dry skin, Gwyneth uses Vintner’s Daughter botanical serum, at a princely $185 per bottle.

“At night time I always love to use Vitner’s Daughter. I love it, my skin tends to be on the drier side. It’s not only an oil-based serum. April, the woman who makes it, says it’s full of all sorts of fantastic things–it really heals skin.”

Gwyneth also uses eye cream, but it only goes on in cooler weather. Her fave is Dr. Barbara Sturm, which costs $140 a bottle.

“In the summer I tend to use less night cream, because we are on the East coast and it has a nice humidity in the air. But if I’m in California or in the wintertime, I use a nice night cream,” she explains.

She adds the finishing touch, using Love + Sage’s Mint Condition Lip Balm, which retails for $12. Now that’s a bargain.
