She revealed her latest problem today (Feb. 9) on Twitter.

“Just when you thought it couldn’t get sexier, I was diagnosed today with ‘leaky gut syndrome’ and a wheat allergy. Could there be a more vile title? That I wouldn’t have put on my dating profile,” she wrote.

Also known as “increased intestinal permeability,” the condition involves breeches in the intestinal walls. It allows substances, like bacteria, toxins and undigested food particles to pass directly into the bloodstream, according to medical references.

Although not a lot is known about the disease, some research has shown a connection with autoimmune diseases like type 1 diabetes and celiac disease.

The good news is it can be treated with a special diet.

Dr. Robynne Chutkan, assistant professor of medicine at Georgetown University Hospital, says leaky gut “is likely to emerge as one of the most significant medical concepts of our time.”

Foreign substances can cause an autoimmune response, including migraines, irritable bowel, eczema, chronic fatigue, food allergies and rheumatoid arthritis.

The leading cause is damaged intestinal cells. They don’t produce the enzymes needed for proper digestion.

Frankel, who depends on the drama in her life to fuel story lines for her reality television show, has suffered from a number of health problems over the years.

When she was younger, she was plagued by an eating disorder.

In 2011, Bethenny admitted she had struggled with anorexia, bulimia and laxative abuse for decades.

“Until my early 30s, I spent my entire life being obsessed with dieting,” she said in an interview. “Bingeing and then fasting or starving. I used to forbid myself from everything. That’s how I used to be: up and down five pounds every single day, to the extremes.”

Frankel who is 5-feet, 7-inches tall, says she weighs 115 pounds, although some observers have said it’s closer to 100 pounds. Bethenny says she stays fit by following a portion-controlled diet and doing yoga workouts.

Frankel also revealed that she has allergies to wheat and fish.

Last December, the “Real Housewives of New York” star revealed she suffers from a rare fish allergy that can cause her to go into anaphylactic shock.

She reportedly became “unconscious for 15 minutes” after eating soup in a December incident. She was carrying an epinephrine “epipen” injector with her when she suffered what she called a “near-fatal” reaction.

Then, in January, she forced an airline to make an emergency landing after she complained about fish on the menu in the confined cabin.

Bethenny’s critics questioned the severity of her allergy, but she insisted an attack can be triggered “by touch and air” and is “fatal.”

And recently, Bethenny admitted she’s still scared to be alone following the ordeal. Her boyfriend Paul Bernon helped revive her.

“It’s crazy. I don’t like to be alone anymore,” she said.
