Jasmine Tookes, the lithe 5-foot, 9-inch tall Victoria’s Secret Angel, gets asked a lot about how she maintains her figure. Her diet secret is simple.

She says she eats everything in moderation.

Jasmine was selected to wear the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show Fantasy Bra (worth $3 million in 2016) in Paris, France. She was the third African American model to receive the honor.

The 28-year-old California native became a Victoria’s Secret Angel in 2015 joining the likes of Lily Aldridge, Taylor Hill, Elsa Hosk and Martha Hunt.

Current and former angels all have their diet and workout regimes, but Jasmine’s may be the simplest of all.

Jasmine says she is a little “bored” by people who constantly ask what she “eats in a day. ” She has no complicated diet. She just keeps healthy by eating all food in “moderation”.

Exercise is also a big part of her life.

Before she started modeling at age 15, Jasmine took gymnastics lessons for ten years and also played volleyball and softball.

“You learn to love your body more and more. Especially as you get older things change, you work out a little harder or a little less. You are constantly learning to accept and love your body,” she told Glamour magazine in a recent interview.

“Everybody has one little thing they don’t like. You have to learn to embrace that and love that,” she confides.

“That’s what I have done. I am so bored of people asking me what I eat every day because, honestly, I eat everything in moderation! I love food so much!”

Jasmine also insisted that she wants to feel “sexy” for herself rather than for any man because it is important to feel confident in your own skin

“Something I feel like I am asked a lot recently is, ‘Is it not cool to be sexy anymore?’ It is cool, you don’t have to be sexy for anyone else, you just have to be sexy for yourself! It’s all about self-love and feeling good about yourself. You can go to Victoria’s Secret and put on lingerie and it can be for you. It doesn’t have to be for a man.”

Jasmine also confessed that her styling tip to make herself feel “mysterious” and sexy is to wear a blouse top that’s slightly unbuttoned so you can see your lingerie slightly “in the middle”.

“I would advise styling a blouse top so you can see the bra in the middle – that way it’s a little mysterious. You don’t have to show everything, just a little peek will do!” she advises.

Tookes says her diet choices are also helped by “enviably fast metabolism.” She says she can “skip workouts, eat pizza, and never gain weight.” She told The Cut:

“I try to get up early, work out in the morning, and get it over and done with. If I wait for the evening, it’s not going to happen. So, I wake up and have a protein shake. I’ll put in banana, chocolate whey powder, peanut butter, strawberries, and almond milk. I like the Isopure chocolate whey powder; it’s one of the cleanest ones. Then I’ll have breakfast, which is usually two hard-boiled eggs with spinach.

For her workout, she hits the gym four times a week. She combines barre classes, Pilates and twice a week she does weight training to build and firm her thighs. She works mainly on her legs and butt.

For other past and present Victoria’s Secret models, their diets are as varied as they are. Here’s how other models do it.

Toni Garrn, the arresting German model, says a big part of her diet is intermittent fasting as a way to detox and stay healthy. Surprisingly, new research shows that fasting does have beneficial health and diet effects.

The process involves a diet regimen that cycles between brief periods of fasting, with either no food or significant calorie reduction, and periods of unrestricted eating, according to the Harvard University School of Health. Read more here.

Josephine Skriver, one of the newest Victoria’s Secret Angels, has it all. But keeping it is another matter. The Dutch model has to work at her figure just like everyone else. That means frequent workouts and healthy eating. “I think what really works is when you find something that’s fun for you, because, you know, going to the gym every day, doing the same routine over and over again, definitely gets dragging at the end,” she says.

“I don’t really believe in diets. I think it’s all about keeping things healthy. I love protein, I’m a big meat eater, so anything that’s like, you know, whatever works for you, just keep it in moderation.” She’s on the road so much, she also packs in healthy snacks. Nuts and fruit are her favorites. Read more here.

Elyse Taylor, one of Australia’s top models and mother of one, is a big believer in the “blood-type diet.” By testing for blood sugar levels, the researchers found that it helps doctors offer better and more targeted advice to patients who want to lose weight. Diet founder, Peter D’Adamo, a naturopathic physician claims foods react chemically with your blood type. Therefore, a diet designed for your blood type will help you digest food more efficiently.

The benefits are the ability to lose weight, have more energy and prevent disease. “I’ve been doing the blood type diet and I’m O. So I’m a meat eater, but no dairy. It’s amazing,” she says in an interview. Taylor uses an app to keep her on her diet. She’s sworn off avocado and coconut. Read more here.

Bridget Malcolm knows the pressure models face to remain thin, but she’s taking a different road to body acceptance. “I have gained weight. And I do not give a fu*k about it,” she says in a statement on her Web site. “My life is so much more than my jean size, the Victoria’s Secret model says.

“I love avocado, olives and nuts. Walnuts and macadamia nuts in particular are a good hook up of omegas. When cooking I choose a high quality olive oil or avocado oil. If you eat fish, enjoy wild salmon regularly. A good, high quality algae oil is a great call for the vegans out there – just to make sure you hit your requirements. Plant-based food sources contain the precursor ALA, and it has a low conversion rate to the important DHA – so make sure you supplement here!” Read more here.

Adriana Lima likes to work out with her Victoria’s Secret supermodel friends. Judging by her six-pack abs, it’s hard to believe Lima is the mother of two small children. Adriana’s post-baby weight loss secrets were a low carb Paleo-style diet and boxing workouts. “I work out and I look after myself,” said Adriana. “I take this seriously because it’s my job.”

Adriana’s diet features high-quality proteins like eggs, grilled meat and chicken and low-sugar fruits like blueberries and blackberries. She’s also drinks plenty of hydrating coconut water throughout the day. The Paleo diet works well for women because it reduces the blood-sugar spikes and hormone surges that fuel overeating, mood swings and weight gain, said Esther Blum, author of “Cavewomen Don’t Get Fat.” Read More Here

Alessandra Ambrosio, a 5-foot, 10-inch tall Brazilian beauty stays fit with a portion-controlled organic diet, Pilates, cardio exercise, and calisthenics. To maintain her lean, toned thighs and butt, Alessandra does calisthenics with ankle weights. “I put 5-pound ankle weights on each leg, get on all fours and kick each heel up toward the ceiling [to work my butt]. I do three sets of 20. Then I also do three sets of 20 fire hydrants, where you lift each bent leg up and out to the side.”
