Kristin Cavallari Diet, Exercise Tips; She Still Wears Size 2 Dress, at 34!

Kristin Cavallari burst onto the reality television scene in 2004 as a cast member of MTV series “Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County.” She’s 34 now and still in fantastic shape.

Kristin says she still wears the same size 2 dresses that she wore on the show when she was just 17. Here is the diet and workout routine she follows to stay in shape.

“I eat with my kids every night at 5:15 p.m.,” she said in a recent interview. “I find that I sleep better when I eat early like that. And I eat enough so that I’m not hungry before I go to bed.”

Translate that into no night-time snacks.

She was married to former Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler for seven years (2013-2020) and had three children with him: sons Camden, eight, and Jaxon, seven, and daughter Saylor, five.

“My kids love pasta,” she says. But she makes it with a twist. “We use brown rice noodles or lentil noodles,” Kristin reveals.

Brown rice noodles are similar to buckwheat. It’s rich in manganese, which helps with muscle and nerve function, regulating blood pressure and supporting the immune system.

Brown rice and brown rice pasta can be included as a part of a balanced meal.

Lentil pasta is high in protein. It has roughly double the amount of protein of traditional pasta, plus it’s gluten free and high in fiber.

Kristin also prefers whole foods that are not processed.

“The way I eat is a lifestyle,” she says.

“Organic as often as possible, tons of veggies, meat, nuts and seeds, complex carbs like buckwheat soba noodles, berries, tons of fat — I even eat butter,” she says.

Research suggests that a low-carb, high-fat diet can help you lose weight, which in turn can help ward off chronic conditions like diabetes and heart disease, according to medical references.

A typical breakfast might include scrambled eggs with goat cheese, avocado and sautéed spinach.

Lunch is a “big salad” and dinner could include enchilada casseroles, burrito bowls and poké bowls.

A poké bowl typically includes diced raw fish served either as an appetizer or a main course.

It’s one of the main dishes of native Hawaiian cuisine. The main ingredients include Yellowfin tuna, sea salt, soy sauce, inamona, sesame oil, limu seaweed and chili pepper.

But Kristin isn’t above splurging, especially when she goes out to dinner.

“I make dinner 90 percent of the time. I think that’s important because that’s the only way to truly know what’s in your food,’ she says.

“When I go out to eat or go on vacation, I eat whatever I want and then I really enjoy it.”

To stay in shape, she works out 45 minutes per day about four days a week.

“I like having some muscle definition without being bulky or looking ‘jacked,'” she says.

“Seeing results makes me want to push harder and gets me excited in the gym. I can honestly say my butt has gotten a lot bigger from being consistent in the gym, working on it for the past year.

“These results don’t happen overnight. It’s important to be patient and stay the course.”

And Kristin refuses to be too hard on herself.

“It’s important to give ourselves grace and not beat ourselves up,’ she told Us Weekly.

“For so many years in my early 20s, I was all or nothing. I have the best relationship I’ve ever had with food and health because I’ve let go of a lot of that control. It’s about consistency — just keep showing up.”

Beside lifting weights, she does circuit training to keep her heart rate up.

“I also started doing hot yoga every once in a while. I don’t do it as often as I would like, but I love it when I’m able to make it happen,” she says.

She’s acting less and spending much of her time these days promoting her jewelry line “Uncommon James.”

She revealed on Instagram that she has been in Palm Springs, Calif., shooting the line’s fall campaign.

She posted some stunning photos in a sultry as the lowcut dress. She showed off her toned legs through a large V-slit in the front of her dress.

The reality TV favorite had her blonde hair down in soft waves and was made up for a night on the town.

“I decided about a year ago to do a deep dive into the products that I was currently using,’ Kristin told London’s Daily Mail.

“I thought I was using really clean, high end products and came to find out that, in fact, they’re not clean at all. So I felt like there was really a need for a line that really, in fact, is clean.”
